I won an ARC of this book from Goodreads and I feel so lucky! I thought the first book was alright but this one is a lot better in my opinion. The first book was good to set up the story and learn the characters/plot but I feel like it was too short. This book was way more action and you got right into it because of the background in the first. I LOVED divergent when I was in middle school so it’s really cool to be reading the same author years later.

Short read I zipped through at work. Pretty interesting but nothing too crazy. I won an arc of the second book from a Goodreads giveaway so I’m very excited to start that!

Good summer read! Different from my normal genre but it was a nice change of pace.

This book was alright 👍. Nothing too special but I’ll definitely read the next book when it comes out to see what happens.

Eeek!! My first Elsie Silver book and I understand the hype! Definitely going to be reading her other books. This was a nice cute romance that I needed after the book I read before this lol. I also got my bf to read some 🌶️ scenes with me when we were at the beach and he was definitely a fan hahahaha.

This is my first book from Aardvark book box and it wasn’t really for me. I picked this one because they compared it to the tv show The Great which is my favorite. But this book was very long and hard to keep track off. There is not much real story so I found it kind of bland. Not terrible but too advanced for me!

I love this book!!! Such a funny concept, it reminds me of the office if it was in hell haha. I also like that there are different povs of characters in hell and living. Definitely want more from this author!

Meh. This was the $5 cafe book at Barnes and noble so I picked it up. Finished it in 2 hours and I just wasn’t a fan. The writing is a bit confusing.

AHHHH 😭😭😭😭 I don’t want this to be the end!! I feel so attached to this story and world now!! But wow, this was such an emotional read I had to keep tissues on me while I was reading! I’m happy that I can start reading some different books now but also so sad I have no more throne of glass to read.☹️
