What a wonderful adventure! I think I could read it several times again without getting tired of it. I really liked the first film adaptation, but not so much the others. The book reconciled me with the story. The characters lack a little development at the beginning. But apart from that, the writing is so immersive. And Andy Serkis is an incredible narrator and actor!

Overall, it was not an enjoyable experience. I like a good Christmas Hallmark movie from time to time, but this book was worse than a bad Hallmark movie in my opinion.
