Creepy child, weird narrator and a cat that reads the Bible? I feel like I just picked the perfect book for Halloween week.

The vibes were good but, sadly, I just couldn't care less about the plot.

Whether you love to hate or hate to love 'em, these literary bad girls are anything but well-behaved. *Disclaimer: we do not literally support the illegal and oft cruel behavior of these protagonists (usually); we support the authors bold enough to write them (always).

I love Flynn's complex female characters and this one could have had a lot of potential. However, packing this up in <70 pages does not give enough justice to the characters nor the plot. Still liked it, though.
