Whether you love to hate or hate to love 'em, these literary bad girls are anything but well-behaved. *Disclaimer: we do not literally support the illegal and oft cruel behavior of these protagonists (usually); we support the authors bold enough to write them (always).

The writing style was my favorite part of this book. It fit the time and place really well and was fun to read. I liked Emily as the narrator throughout the story. And overall I enjoyed the plot of the story as well. The pacing sometimes felt a little off, more could have happened in the first half perhaps or like more dread built up. But overall i really enjoyed the book. It felt very immersive into the world of teenage girls in the 20s at a boarding school
