Ok I’m starting to forgive Nesta… Elain still is kinda just there.

Zeus really is the absolute worst! And poor Hera blames herself. People talk about fight and flight responses. But freezing is a very real response too.

Gotta say, I'm a bit skeptical about this one. Not sure how Saint is going to twist Hera into a (somewhat) likable and/or relatable character. Hera's not generally known for being likable...

Am I the only one having Elide as their favourite character? I always see people raving about Manon (she is great don't get me wrong) but never Elide.. And the story line with Lorcan.. I am eating it up

This is, without question, my favorite Jennifer Saint novel thus far! It was very well written, and although the pacing was a bit slow, I thought that everything flowed nicely and was quite enjoyable! Seeing such a well known tale through the eyes of a character who's usually overlooked is something that I nearly always enjoy, and Saint did a marvelous job here! I absolutely adored Atalanta and her story! She was such a strong, fierce heroine, but she was also kind and compassionate when called for. The complexities of her relationships with various characters throughout this novel added a layer of depth that made her a truly likeable character. From the Nymphs who raised her to the Argonauts she adventured with, there were many intriguing and likeable side characters in this novel. There were also some characters who were downright irritating… like Jason. But irritating Jason aside, this novel was wonderful! There honestly wasn't anything I'd change about this book, and I even really liked the ending of this book, which was refreshing after not loving the endings of Ariadne and Elektra. Definitely glad that I finally picked this book up after letting it sit on my TBR for soooo long!
