that was genuinely a wild ride. none of the books I read lately stuck out to me but this one was simply spectacular

I did not expect to fall in love with the characters like this SCYTHE CURIE AND FARADAY MY BABIES SHDNDNDMD (let’s ignore how they’re like probably thousands of years old)

the world building in this was just amazing and just the way the author explored all the themes was honestly chefs kiss

my only complaint is the romance djdjmdn since it just felt like rowan and citra just started liking each other simply because of their proximity 😭 SIGHH I HOPE IT GETS BETTER I NEED MORE CHEMISTRY RHDNDNDB

but other than that this was an amazing first book and i can’t wait to start the second one
