We all want men in books, but they sadly do not exist, or do they? Share your stories of past or present experiences that felt like it was straight out of a book. You don't have to have dated them, or still be with them, just something you sometimes think of and believe could be written into a book! Ɛ>

Whichever one of you beautiful Pagebound souls who read my crashout and decided to manifest a man who would like books my way, it worked in less than 24 hours. Ya'll are scary! In less than 24 hours, I had a guy talk to me and listen to me about the types of books I liked, we liked, and he told me about books he liked. So I would like to thank whoever played their little magic on me. At this moment, we have plans to go to the bookstore together (time and date not decided yet). Sadly, he isn't much my type, but other than that, he is really cute. However, my type is literally toxic men, so maybe it is time to change that 😅 Thank you for your manifestations. If it doesn't turn romantic, I am happy to have a friend, nonetheless, who likes to read and talk about books!

Personally, I have started spooky season with Frankenstein by Mary Shelly, but I want all the recommendations to get into the spooky mood of Halloween / October overall. I am into all genres, share your favourites overall. I am interested to see what people on this app like!

Find me a man who is willing to stand in a bookstore for hours while I pick up every book I have read and spend 15 minutes talking about the plot and everything I loved/hated about the book without pouting, sighing, or walking away. I am cilingy, I need someone who won't walk away when I pick up the same book for the fourth time, contemplating if I should read it this month or next month. And I don't need him to spend money on me or anything, just be there, spending time with me, showing interest, not walking away, holding my books, giving hugs, and willing to listen to me the second I finish my book, listening to everything I have to say. And he can play his video games, or do his work, I just want to sit there up next to him reading my book, spending quality time. Sadly, however, so far, I have only seen these types of men in the books I read. Real-life men I have dated have just complained the entire time, not understanding why one would read to no extent. Sighing every time I mention the books I am reading. Anyways, this is my personal crash-out concerning the dating life as a bookworm, feel free to do the same in the comments.

Starting the spooky season off with the OG monster book! Never thought I would be the one to read classics, but I am in love with Frankenstein and his creature so far! It is a must-read for the spooky season. It can be a drag sometimes to read, as it was written in 1818, but the 1831 edition is easier to comprehend, I promise! Love this edition of the book, it has artwork from an older copy, and uses the printing from, I believe, 1869.

I am sorry. But when Avery stopped being the main character and I had to listen to these two brothers being immature teenagers... I couldn't. I don't even think I got very far in. And if I hear the name... Emily Laughlin... one... more... time... Avery is better than me. I would have kicked them all out of that house for numerous reasons.

Listen, I read everything, I really do. But lately? I haven't been able to finish a book unless I force myself to. So! Please? Recommend the books that made you forget time existed, that made you forget it was just tattooed ink on dead trees, made you forget life outside of your own personal movie in your mind. Ɛ>

Honestly, not going to lie. I know a lot of people say it is overhyped. But this book got me out of my reading slump. So, honestly, deserves the hype it is getting. However, if you are new to the fantasy world, or long-ish books. I would not start with Fourth Wing. Love the characters, even if Violet could get a little frustrating sometimes, but honestly, I love her too. Just sometimes want to hit both her and Xaden with a hammer.

I love this book with my whole heart. It is not for everyone, I am well aware of that information. But when I put the book down, I went from being happy that it was a standalone to wanting to cry and curse the author for leaving the ending with no other book to continue. The beginning is slow, just remember that, but it picks up! I swear! You just have to give it a chance, I promise!
