A collection of the pilot books for popular series, for those of us who love to follow a character's journey for as long as an author will let us! Some of the below series have heavily debated starting points and book read orders--in those cases the pilot was selected based on what seems to be the most popular approach.

This was a nice read, lighthearted, funny at times and definitely fitting the autumn mood that I was yearning for. The characters were okay. Jeanie was cute and I liked her, Logan was kinda meh. I was confused at first why this book was described as smutty if nothing practically happened ever, but then I found that there were 2/3 sex scenes piled against each other by the end. And well, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the read, I just think it would have done much better without the sex scenes. They were a little boring for me, but maybe I was just not the target audience for them 😅 Anyway, I would recommend this book for the autumn vibes (nothing Gilmore Girl related tho, idk why they market it as that) and as a quick, cozy read. If you're looking for a strong romance story, this wasn't it for me.
