I just got a random question one day: what books do people want to see turned into movies/tv shows/series and why - is that because of a great character, or an unforgettable plot/plot twist(s)? Here are mine (feel free to check them out if you want!!) : • The Inheritance Games - the plot + characters • The Naturals - The characters • Caraval - The world • Powerless - The characters • The Reappearance of Rachel Price - the plot • Lie Or Die - The plot + plot twist These are some of my favourite books of all time (not all) and I would love to know yours and your reasons why you would want them to be turned into a movie/series/tv show!! <3

Going into this book, I hated (and still do) sports or anything to do with athletics but I was very surprised when I actually kind of liked the book. It was very slow at the start, but once it gets to a certain bit, it becomes addictive. I could NOT stop reading it and would definitely recommend it even if you don't like sports but only like romance you should still read it. Yes, the hockey does get mentioned a lot but not like to the point where it's too much. The book even has its own playlist with actual songs in it too, so if you like music you should check it out!

It was actually pretty decent. The ending I didn't see do that's good but it took me ages to read it and I didn't want to constantly pick it up like I do with other books. I found the book very slow and I had a feeling that the author stretched it so it's longer because reading it feels a bit like a chore ngl but I didn't want to dnf it so I finished it.

i picked up this book with no prior knowledge, and it seems to be the best way to go about pb readalong/special events books, because if i knew what it's about, i probably wouldn't want to read it
even though this book touches many heavy subjects (grief, illness, falling apart), it's written in such masterful way i felt as if i myself was becoming a part of this story, an additional puzzle piece that fits "the vanishing cherry blossom bookshop" picture perfectly, that i am as vital part of this story, as the characters are. it was sad at times, striking a note too close to home (i cried 3 times), but i felt so seen, so understood while reading it that even when it was uncomfortable, very sad to read at times, it was very sweet and comforting too. honestly i would recommend this book to everyone, and i feel i am going to come back to it when i need some additional support. it's an uplifting book (but not in a way, like for example "psalm for the wild built" is), it just feels like coming back home after a long, bad day. yes, maybe everything what could go wrong went wrong, you cried and spilled coffee on yourself, maybe you argued with someone you love, but now you are safe, tucked in your warm bed, tomorrow is a new day. tomorrow will be different. "you are alive right now. that, in itself, is a miracle"
