Is someone able to sort of tell me what I can expect from this book with minimal spoilers, if possible. Two months ago I finished the first book and have been having a hard time transitioning to the second book. Not sure if it because the first book left on such a high note, and this beginning just feels slow. BUT if someone can sort of write a hype piece for it to get me going to read it I would absolutely appreciate you and your words, thank you!

    All done!

Finished! Great book, and a great way to find new authors! Very happy I took the time to read this book, even is 2 of the 11 stories were a hit for me. I would definitely suggest this for someone who enjoys short story collections, and is looking for a verity of kinds of horror through the book.

Haven’t seen a single review for this book, so let me be the first to say that overall it was a great book! It’s a collection of short stories by Canadian Indigenous authors, so not ever one of them was a hit for me, but out of all 11 stories there was 2 that I didn’t enjoy/finish. This book does have a verity of horror, and had two stories that sufficiently made my skin crawl, and one story that I thought was a little goofy, but the ending made up for the middle. Overall! A really great book, and a good was to find new authors who may have a writing style you are interested in!

Has anyone seen this book before? I saw it on the self of my book store and thought it was interesting, but it looks like no one’s really seen/read it. It is still relatively new, it was published in 2025, so that could be a factor. Just curious! P.s. loving it so far
