I'll go first 🧚♀️✨️
I began to realize in my late teens that the quiet & peaceful life was for me. It sparked my love for nature and getting lost in hikes, sights, and preserved lands all around me. I just loved sprawling fields as far as the eyes could see, dreaming one day to call a small town home.
Hence, country romance genre 🤠 sure sure, the cowboy is a bonus ig BUT I fell more in love with way of life of it. It reminded me how much I loved horses as a kid and am looking to book lessons, I picked up line dancing, and had the dream of a lifetime visiting the tetons & the inspirational setting for these books (I am plotting my return back to the tetons soon♡)
I think these lil things have definitely been a positive impact, especially when I've been missing those cool nights under the Midwest stars and untouched lands. Has there been a book where a hobby related to it in any capacity made your curious to pick it up? Or !! What are some hobbies that you find keep you immerse in what you're reading?

Thanks to NetGalley and Bindery Books for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I was so excited when I got an invite to read this one! Sapphic fantasy with witches has got to be one of my favourite subgenres.
So what do we have?
A witch (Pamela) in her late twenties who suddenly lost her magic and doesn't know who she is without. She moves back to her home island with the hope of getting her magic back. On the island we have a cute café with an even cuter woman who runs the shop (Liss). There are so many other shops which really gives you that "cozy small town" vibes. Pamela and Liss obviously like each other so you'll have to read it so see what happens!
There is also found family. Add the cute pets (Hades the cat familiar, a raccoon with a straw hat, and a random lizzard) and you have a super cozy fantasy!
I always hope these kind of novels get a sequel in the future, since I see the possibility of other characters having a romance in the town. I really hope there will be!
