I didn't expect much from book, but within a a few pages I couldn't stop reading.

And a Beowulf retelling is definitely something new and fresh. I mean I love all the fairy tale retellings (K. M. Shea for example) but sometimes I just wish for something new and different. And this book definitely delivered.

Overall I really enjoyed reading this book and wished there were more books like this. An interesting plots, unexpected plot twists, relatable characters, humor and an adorable ending. Especially the humour, quite often the fun is ditched for more drama, gore or whatever.

So I would say just read and enjoy
