This was a fun read, lots of action. For a debut, this was pretty solid. The ending did feel a bit rushed; with too many people constantly running around, but very enjoyable

It's maybe strange to say this about a book with a topic like tbc, but I really enjoyed this book. John Green is a really good storyteller (and also the narrator of the audiobook) and for me the perfect person to bring such a serious topic. I learned a lot and will definitely check out some of the recommended youtube videos regarding fashion & tbc

I enjoyed this one a lot, I saw a lot of negative reviews and I do understand them, this feels more YA. But the Handmaid's Tale was just so brilliant, a sequal would always be a disappointment . For me, I was glad to spend some more time in the universe.
Sidenote: I listened to the audiobook and the part by Aunt lydia was narrated by the actress from the Handmaid's Tale which really elevated it for me, highly recommend the audibook!

I've just finished the series and I have some recommendations for readers that are considering starting it. Firstly you should know that while the series starts out extremely strong (the first 4 books are amazing) it really falls of later, specifically books 5-11. Some books will still be ok/good (for me they were 6, 7, 11, and obviously the last three, though I know some readers think others are better), but the rest will be straight out boring. The ending was good, though not extraordinary, and for me personally not worth a year of my life reading this series (granted I also read other books simultaneously). However, if you have no problem skipping over some of the books, or certain chapters (I'm sure there's a list of which are vital and/or interesting and which aren't somewhere on the internet, and there are chapter by chapter summaries for those you would skip), or if you skim read, instead of reading each and every word like I do, you probably would enjoy it much more. In addition, for everyone who like listening to podcasts on books, I would highly recommend listening to the Queens of Fantasy podcast, as for me it enhanced the experience and made it from 3⭐ - just the series itself to 4 maybe even 4.5 ⭐.

All the stars! After a weaker number 4, I'm glad to say Horowitz is on top of his game again. I had no clue who did it and why, which made me very happy to be surprised at the end when everything came together. Now the waiting begins for nr6

This is a very pretty book and it's nice that you are supporting JA's museum/house when you buy it. But I wish we would have gotten some more background information regarding her letters; I found these difficult to understand without context
