âTHE DOCTERS DONâT KNOW SHITâ
Is very accurate. This was why I was too afraid to go off puberty blockers before I had an hysterectomy, I was way too paranoid for stuff like this.

Amazing book with a very well thought out magic system that us also very well explained. Loved the characters and how they interacted. Donât have a lot of time, will make more detailed later đ

Love this ride a lot. I read it almost in one sitting, and just love the characters. 10/10 recommended

Are there rumours to a sequel? Im not sure yet and donât have the opportunity to look it up right now. I did love the ending, but I need more because I loved it sooo much.

Love how quickly we begin the story! Itâs not the usual âget to know the charactersâ type of book, and I find it rather refreshing.

I seem to be on a run of books that spark a lot of thoughts and feelings. First Saint Deathâs Daughter by C. S. E. Cooney and now Katabasis by R. F. Kuang have sent me running to Pagebound every few lines. (Partly the effect of reading digitally, which makes pulling quotes way too easy.) But then I hesitate and often rethink, because I donât want to overwhelm the forum.
Do you limit the number of times you post in a bookâs forum? Do you have any personal criteria (beyond the community standards of timeless and relatively substantive) for posting? Does it depend on the bookâs length or genre or the number of other people posting?

Morally grey or straight up baddies? A collection of books written from a villainous/morally grey POV. Only the first book from a series is included.

My flabber is gasted. I went down to my library today to find a book that was listed as available, but unfortunately it wasn't in its shelf. Disappointing but it happens! So I went to the computer to see if I could reserve it for free if I did it there (it's about $2 if I do it online). I didn't even get to check because I saw a "Borrow-n-Deliver" button and the library sends up to 4 books right up to your doorstep! It usually costs $8 to deliver apparently but the library also gives out 200 complimentary Free Delivery coupons every Monday. Absolutely gobsmacked.
I know this isn't gonna be the same for every country (NLB homies tho, get on that!!), but it's a good reminder to check in on your local libraries for any services you can fully utilize! And also an appreciation post for libraries and librarians that truly go the extra mile to keep the love for reading alive.
What do you love most about your local library or librarians! Are there any services, features, or events that you really love about them?

Does anyone else have a problem with not seeing the little asterisk? Iâll read right past where I should check the footnote until I get to the bottom of the page and have to scan back through like a whereâs waldo which makes me feel like a detective đľď¸
