this book completely took my breath away! such a tender, thoughtful rewriting of the odyssey with sapphic angst, feminist critique, and a focus on class struggle. the length was a bit daunting at first, but every page was absolutely necessary to effectively pace out this absolute beast of a story!

The yearning!! The heartbreak!! For me, the vibes were immaculate, the book held me from the beginning and never let go, I'm almost sad I finished it.
This was A+ romance for me, the softness of the love in the story. I don't know if I can actually put words to my feels, this was one of the best books this year for me.
