It keeps getting better and better. I finally started caring about Elvar's pov after learning where she came from. The journey ahead of her also sounds like it will be really entertaining to read, so I can't wait to continue.

Okay, it's actually getting better. Orka and Varg are really growing on me. Elvar I'm still indifferent towards, but I think I'm finally hooked on the book as a whole. It only took like 150 pages

I feel like nothing has really happened so far. There's nothing to hook me in this story, I hope it gets better, cause I already bought the second book and I don't want it to just sit unread

I'm conflicted about this. On one hand it was a beautiful and captivating story, but on the other it feels incomplete. It sets up some big plot that could endanger the whole world, but the author has said that the series is discontinued so we'll never find out what happens. But at least the Matsuda family got a seemingly good ending with an optimistic plan for the future.
