Does anyone have any tips or tricks to reading a physical book? Due to a chronic illness, I switched to audiobooks a few years ago for all my books. I used to absolutely love reading a physical book, and this year it was my goal to read at least one print book. It’s very hard for me to want to read it or feel as engaged. I don’t know if I just don’t like the book, or if I’m having a hard time getting back into it. Any suggestions or tips/tricks would be more than welcome!

I found somebody's surgery summary in a secondhand book once 😭🙏🏻. Wondering if other people have found interesting stuff in secondhand books, feel free to share!

i am turning to the people of pagebound to ask--which brand of tabs/sticky notes do you use???
i often find that, after reading and annotating my books, the sticky tabs are too strong and lift the ink of the page or even rip the page when i take them out! i stopped using them because of this but i still really want to tab up my books!!!

A must read. A powerful call for poverty abolitionists. Easy to understand, informative book that allows you to dream of what America could be… if we FIGHT for the America we deserve.

“Manufactured scarcity empowers and justifies racism, so much so that the historical sociologist Oliver Cromwell Cox once speculated that without capitalism ‘the world might never have experienced race prejudice’. “
