This is one of those books made for a younger (13-17) audience that if you read it as an adult you think "God, this needs 300 more pages!" Truly a stunning read. The ending felt anticlimactic, but it was realistic to the situation so yeah, sure it can be anticlimactic I guess.
Very twilight zone but one of those where at the end of the episode Rod Sterling goes "was that fucked up or what? Anyways space is crazy."
