For all my fellow Christians, I have a hilarious story.
I was just reading my Bible, and I did a double take when I read “LOL.” Looking back, I realize that it said, “Lo.”
🫣🤭 I spend too much time on the internet.

I read this book a while ago, but I struggle so badly to separate the movie and book when trying to think of a scene. I just know when I finished, I thought how well they did the movie adaption. I was obsessed with it as a kid!

i can usually tell when i’m not going to get along with a book right off the bat (be it the writing style, the content, the characters, etc.), but my partner often encourages me to keep reading to see if i’ll like things more because historically, i struggle with expositions and as a new reader, if i’m not hooked within the first page or two, well…
so, when do you dnf a book? when is too early to dnf a book?
i find it basically impossible to make it halfway through a book if i’m already trudging my feet one chapter in. maybe i need to work on this, or maybe life isn’t that serious 😭

I think this book for sure deserves the hype it gets.
This is a book that makes you think and feel. I don't agree with all the concepts, but the topics I do are so well done. The characters are amazing, as is the plot.
You could have a hard time if you are not a fan of science or find yourself struggling to understand what is being said, but overall I thought it was put together perfectly, even as someone with no to limited science knowledge
I'd highly recommend at least giving it a chance, because if it hooks you, there's no stopping.

I woke up today thinking about this because I have read and hear comments that say that people won't read certain books or finish them because they felt like the book was "stupid" or that it gives them a headache because the book is "so simple". In my case, I enjoy most books I read and I can even give it a 5 star rating because it either brought out a strong emotion in me (rage, sadness, etc.), or I just enjoyed the story of the book and could appreciate the way it was written and I did not analyze it or thought that the story or narrator was "dumb" or something. In general I do not do the analyzing books thing, specially with fiction, and I would like to hear from people how do they approach reading. Is it something that needs to be like studying, is it for enjoyment, is it for critique? I'm genuinely curious.

Is anyone’s Libby holds just… not coming in? I swear none of mine have for weeks 😩 but i bet they’ll flood in after this post
It’s not even that I don’t have stuff to read, but I have books for book clubs and readalongs that I should be reading now and not later!
Anyone else having this problem? Are there Libby gods I need to be sacrificing to?
