Obsessed! What an enjoyable read with lots of twists and turns; questions that burn to be answered. This book creates a picture of Fae and their world in a unique way I have not yet encountered, and I loved discovering the world, the friends, the tricks and the lies along with Althea.
I thought the differences between mortals (our main character) and the Fae were mostly well written, and the protagonist was such an interesting character as we get to watch her navigate this new world. The growth from where she is at the start of the book vs the end!
Immediately diving into the second book!

no judgement zone here! i’m always curious about this and what made the book so bad to someone
mine is between if he had been with me and a thousand boy kisses. these books i was so excited to read but when i did, i absolutely hated them. i cringed way too hard during both of them. i know they are supposed to be heartbreaking, but it’s hard to be hurt by a book that made me want to chuck it across the room because of how bad it was

When I was a kid, my absolute favorite books were the Moorchild, Island of the Blue Dolphins, and A Little Princess. I haven't read them as an adult, except last year I listened to the audio book version of the Moorchild, which of course gave me a whole new perspective on it but which I still loved.
This made me want to reread my other two favorites, and then I got to thinking, how fun would it be to have a kind of forum or read along or challenge where we revisit books from our childhoods 🥹
So I wanted to ask what books everyone enjoyed as a kid and if anyone would be interested in rereading their favorites 🤗

There may have been another post made regarding this topic, but have there been thoughts about adding polls or a spin wheel to pick your next read? My thought process is you could automatically import you tbr or interested list to the wheel and it will randomly select your next read. For polls, you could select two books for your community to vote on. These popped in my mind as I was trying to select my next book choice 😊 thanks in advance for any comments, I love this app so much already!

What is, according to you, the appropriate amount of pages/percentage read for you to log your reading progress?
I get temped even if I just read 2 pages lol

I really wonder what Stephanie Garber's original version of this book would've been like. I know her editors made her scrap it, but we did get to see an extract she released of a scene from the original version. However, I really wonder if it would've made the series conclude stronger and make the ending more satisfying, as you can definitely tell that in this version everything's a bit rushed.
