Not sure how I feel about the odd pacing of this so far. Also for some reason I keep mixing the names of the protagonists up đ

I absolutely could not stand Luc and his incessant need to interrupt every single action or conversation with pages worth of muddled introspection. Exhausting!
Why are all of these late 20s/early 30s men and women speaking to each other over text and in person like it's 2002 and they're all on MSN?!
I don't think there was a single character I actually liked in this book, everyone needed therapy not dating, and I absolutely will not be reading any more in this series.

I saw this trend on TikTok and since I'm new here, I hope it will be a good conversation starter. What is one book and or series you'd do just about anything to read for the first time again? đ§

This is a solid 3 for me. While it was very, very cute, made me laugh a few times, and I will absolutely read more of this series I also found it to be a bit shallow in a lot of areas. We skip all over the place in the plot with both locations, and people's attitudes towards or opinions of others.
I thought the sex scene in this was actually so hot as opposed to the major cringe they usually are but I really feel like it needed a few more!
The book starts with characters feeling quite defined but ends with them feeling like totally different characters.
One I would say is a nice easy read if you want some tooth rotting sweetness and nothing too stressful, lots of potential for world and lore building, but nothing absolutely mindblowing :)
