Diversity: BIPOC MC , SCs and BC , Autistic MC Queerness: Gay MCs , trans sc/bc Queer SCs ( exact sexuality not mentioned for some Song association: Are you still waiting for me ? By Vian izak Content Warnings : Limited use of homophobic slurs Limited to 1 page and themes of religious trauma Okay so this was super cute and wholesome and at points had be crying. Right from the start I clocked onto alexi and his autism and it was nice to read some rep ( something i do want to read more of ) Ben and lex are both idiots bit it's okay and I loved that ben was prepared to wait for lex They way they healed each other in ways they don't relise was touching. The religious trauma on lexs part was very well done ! I look forward to reading more from this author!

Content warnings : Mentions of slavery ( side mention) use of sex work ( both mcs are in this business- all encounters are consensual) One scene of violence from client (minimal description and it's shut down by someone else very quick ) I discovered this author though his tiktok ! This is a very new novela and with not many people reading it i thought i will give it a whirl and .... * slams credit card down* It is marked as gay erotica on amazon and yes there are themes of sex work , however the scenes that are steamy are not overwhelming- you could read this in public pretty easy I loved that in the book there was a whole plot ! Most gay erotica is just sex but this book has so many diffrent themes I loved the relationship between ren and cormac. It was so sweet and tender. The falling in love ? The connection between them as humans? The protectiveness of cormac ? It even has hurt comfort !. The world building is also not overwhelming either ! If you are looking for a quick and easy read about two idiots that has a happy ending. Amelias is for you ! I definitely look forward to reading any more content that Benjamin brings out

Diversity: Not Mentioned Queerness: Queer MCs ( exact sexuality not mentioned) Gay MC, queer SCs , ,asexuality mention ( i think) Song association: Family Line By Conan Gray Okay so I started to reach this one becuase all I was seeing on my tiktok were bloody cosplays of these mcs ( literally, just fake blood everywhere) I like that everyone is traumatised, not one of these people have healthy coping mechanisms or had a good childhood... I love it It reads easy and perfect for when you angst. No one had.boned yet but idea Kevin, Andrew and Neil have potential 💀 i have already purchased the rest on Kindle and will be reading them in the future

Ohhhhh I liked this one . The fiest book was okay but this one had much more going on . And the twists? When I thought i sussed out ( which i did like two pages onto meeting the sc ) i get blindsided by a plot twist within the plot twist ! THEN THERE WAS ELELEMYS I DIDNT EVEN CLOCK ONTO Ugh so good The relationship between lily and jo was perfect. The slow burn was perfectly done ! Now all that needs to happen is ash getting his own book ! He's so supportive and loving to his siblings that are apparently obsessed with southerners, he deserves a beautiful love story too ! Bravo - absolutely recommend this book

Not got an overly lot to day about this book . Loved the pining and the relationship between the two towards the end of the book. The way raff cares for penn and his scars and then penn with raff at the end 🥺 it feel most of the book was traveling I also liked that when ever penn talked about going back with raff , he said " I'm going home ) It was a low action cozy read. I will be reading all the painted stars The song is relate to this book and it's characters is - Carry you home by Alex warren

Feeling very neutral about this book , it had a lot of cross overs with the trilogy from the author which I read last year . They are easy reads and read a little like fan fiction which isn't entirely a bad thing Lovely pallet cleanser again though got blindsided by a breeding kink which I'm not sure how I feel about I feel like it should have been included in the content warnings

This book has been on my Audiobook TBR for a while and decided to listen today while I was figuring out what. To listen to next only to find that the mc was trans so unintentionally read as part of the trans rights readathon! It was a lovely surprise The book it's self was a quick listen , though it was short the author managed to fit quiet a lot of information in but I feel it may have benefited being longer. It's hard to get attached to characters in such little time I would recommend as a nice pallet cleanser however for full transparency, this book deals with racists , homophobic and transphobic themes

Read as part of the trans rigjt readathon. While it don't usually read non fiction, for the marathon I wanted to read some books about the journey of all types of trans people. This book was not only informative but funny. Samantha has a great sense of.humor and she had be chucking at work at least twice If you are looking for a quick but informative read , I recommend this book!

Read as part of the trans rigjt readathon and is also the second part to the sunbearer trials I really liked this book. Becuase it was a second book in a duo I didn't have to spend super long learning all the characters. I liked the side romance in this book and the " we will.meet.in another.life" killed me Dispite being a YA.it didn't feel like it at times. There is a lot of swearing and violence of which I'm here for 10/10 recommend
