Rivers of London (Rivers of London, #1)
Ben Aaronovitch
So the genre of real world but with magic adult ficton (Rivers of London, Dresden Files and so on) is my favourite. But I am a bit tired of British and Us settings so far the only series I have found is Sergey Lukianenko's Watch series, written and set in Russia. I want more from around the world. Does anyone no more ( translated into English please)?
I feel like readers are collecters to their core. Who doesn’t like collecting bookish trinkets, or buying yet another copy of their favorite books (even though you’ve run out of shelfspace and you REALLY can’t afford to buy a 6th copy of Frankenstein).
Which books do you unapologetically own multiple copies of?
For me there’s a couple of them: Frankenstein (surprise surprise), Pride and Prejudice, any Rebecca Ross book…

I have 4 sets of the sailor moon manga, and I collect the first book in the rivers of London series in different languages. It's difficult not to do this for more books because some editions are gorgeous. But space and money are not endless.
