Hello! I was wondering when you read a book and you are aware of the authors life or actions whether that be good or bad), do you find that it influences your interpretation/how you take in the book or do you believe that what is written is independent of the author? I was going through an essay called, “The Death of the Author,” for personal research and was wondering if people in the generally public read beyond whats just given to them on the page! Thanks ^o^

The thing about some authors is that they make books for certain age group and a targeted audience but some of the books just feel so irrelevant and its extremely corny. Do any of you have an experience like that when you read a book and it turned out to be really bad.

I feel like for me that one book I just can't stop reading is.( if it's not forever it's not love) by durjoy dutta, I just can't keep it down. and I read it like three times already and I'm still not done with the story it is extremely beautiful and it shows like real life struggles and stuff so if you are someone who likes slices of life and a little bit of romance on the side please try reading this book

Hey everyone, I just bought myself some clear post its because I want to start to write my thoughts down in my books. Are here some readers who already do it? I'm really interested in the things you usually write down when reading your books.

I have seen a lot of people talk about how good the authors are but has never seen people talk about the authors that do bad stuff like funding anti trans communities
