I'd just really love to see some happy things, so if you're up to it, can you share with me something that was great about this week, or something that made you smile today? I'd love to hear!

What are some things you love to do to get into the reading mood or start a reading sesh?
I love reading on my commute into work - popping in some thematic music is key! If I’m home, sometimes low lights and a candle creates the perfect vibe.

Sometimes I like to scroll through the user pages to try to find new people to follow, and so far I think the highest amount of overlap I've ever encountered was around 30%. Curious, how much overlap have you guys had with others? 👀

Hello! I was wondering when you read a book and you are aware of the authors life or actions whether that be good or bad), do you find that it influences your interpretation/how you take in the book or do you believe that what is written is independent of the author? I was going through an essay called, “The Death of the Author,” for personal research and was wondering if people in the generally public read beyond whats just given to them on the page! Thanks ^o^

I'm at the point of the book where I have to reference previous pages to make sure what I'm reading at the moment is right (understood the entire magic system wrong, AHHH!!)

An introduction to the Fantasy genre, these books are part of the cultural zeitgeist or the 'canon' that many would recognize. Look for more niche titles in later Starter Pack volumes.

A collection of the pilot books for popular series, for those of us who love to follow a character's journey for as long as an author will let us! Some of the below series have heavily debated starting points and book read orders--in those cases the pilot was selected based on what seems to be the most popular approach.

80 pages into this thing and I have no idea what the setting is. Is it dystopian with magic? Is this fantasy with semi-modern, post apocalyptic but also Roman Empire vibes? I couldn't tell you if my life depended on it.
