Ya'll, I wish I could include photos but... someone here mentioned PB to June Hur and when I replied to that story she said it was the first time she was hearing about it but she was would check it out 👀 She also seemed intrigued when I told her it's from a small team of women and self funded too. Isn't that amazing?? Hope she does check it out and falls in love with this community too ^^ June Hur, if you ever do check it and see this, hi! Thanks for checking out PageBound! 🥰

Anyone else have a huge love for mass market paperbacks? 🥹 I just love a book that I can fit in one hand! My mass alert paperback collection of Redwall is a prized possession.
What’s your favorite printed book style to read or have in your shelves?

Hi guys! Time for another Who’s Who Wednesday where every Wednesday we get to know each other a little better and make new friends. (I cleared it with J + L)
If you participated last week, no need to make a new introduction if you don’t want to but maybe include some facts about you or an opinion you want to share. If you’re new or didn’t participate last week, introduce yourself.
I’ll go first
My name is JadeLovesBooks
Green Day and Tool are the best 90s bands The casting of the twilight movie still makes me angry to this day I have beef with a squirrel in my neighborhood

The moment has arrived! You have the house to yourself all weekend (or you are finally going away on vacation, or whatever version of "no obligations just books" works best for you). You've got books from your TBR available (either a physical stack and/or digital items checked out from the library onto your device, or a backlog of digital items from whichever retailer you favour).
How many books do you expect to get through, and how many do you actually get through?

If you had to pick one specific bookish "no no" to push you over the edge and become your villain origins story what would it be ? I'll go first : Dog eared pages would start the process then I'll gradually surrender to the dark completely if I see people trying to pass on "buying copious amounts of books and not reading them" as normal. And then if I saw supporting local libraries and library hauls I'll eventually get my redemption arc 😂 Your turn !

What are some things you love to do to get into the reading mood or start a reading sesh?
I love reading on my commute into work - popping in some thematic music is key! If I’m home, sometimes low lights and a candle creates the perfect vibe.

As the title says, I'm a bit dried up on what to read. And though, admittedly I have fantasy wlw books lined up in tbr, I'm not in the mood for those in particular.
So I was wondering if anyone knows some good fantasy wlw books that isn't big like Gideon the 9th, Priory, etc.
Whether it's some supernatural fantasy of werewolves, witches, etc. or the classic dragon fantasy of knights and swords, the likes. I'm up for anything really. I need something to scratch the itch 😂

If you're a completionist, read in this order. Otherwise you can start with The Liveship Traders Trilogy or The Rain Wild Chronicles, but make sure you save Fitz and the Fool for last.

I'm loving this so far! The world building is so cool, I love the whole cyborg thing, I hope we learn more about that throughout the series?! I think its pretty obvious what's gonna happen, which usually kind of annoys me, but I'm so invested in the story that I really don't care, I'm just enjoying the ride!

I started this book last night hoping it’ll end my little slump and I’m really hooked! Love the writing and pacing so far.
