What are some things you love to do to get into the reading mood or start a reading sesh?
I love reading on my commute into work - popping in some thematic music is key! If I’m home, sometimes low lights and a candle creates the perfect vibe.

As the title says, I'm a bit dried up on what to read. And though, admittedly I have fantasy wlw books lined up in tbr, I'm not in the mood for those in particular.
So I was wondering if anyone knows some good fantasy wlw books that isn't big like Gideon the 9th, Priory, etc.
Whether it's some supernatural fantasy of werewolves, witches, etc. or the classic dragon fantasy of knights and swords, the likes. I'm up for anything really. I need something to scratch the itch 😂

If you're a completionist, read in this order. Otherwise you can start with The Liveship Traders Trilogy or The Rain Wild Chronicles, but make sure you save Fitz and the Fool for last.

I'm loving this so far! The world building is so cool, I love the whole cyborg thing, I hope we learn more about that throughout the series?! I think its pretty obvious what's gonna happen, which usually kind of annoys me, but I'm so invested in the story that I really don't care, I'm just enjoying the ride!

I started this book last night hoping it’ll end my little slump and I’m really hooked! Love the writing and pacing so far.

I really wanted to recommend A Winter's Promise. I read this big boy in ONE DAY during pandemic. I was do invested! Basically this book have: heavy steampunk vibes, really good worldbuilding and politic schemes. Like steampunk Game of Thrones with a little bit of romance. It's beautifully written. I would also say it has gothic side: dark themes, loneliness. English is not my first language so sorry for any errors but I can't stop recommending this book. I bought it blindly, I haven't heard about this title ever before, I just like the book cover. And it become one of my favorites 💜

Dramatic battles, tense political intrigue, unique world building...and is that maybe some romance I'm sensing? These books are not Romantasy but focus primarily on the SFF elements. Romance is a subplot and may not appear until later in the series, but when it does, you won't be disappointed.
