"If you don't cry sometimes, you'll end up crying all the time"
Joyce is such a sweet character. But I can see that she has layers. And wisdom. I fully agree to this statement. Crying is good for the soul.

I've been leaning into being an angry woman lately, what with the state of the world and everything, and I would love recommendations that fit the vibe. I've been listening to Hayley Williams and Lily Allen's new albums (Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party and West End Girl respectively), so that kind of describes the mood I'm in. I'm talking memoirs, romance novels, historical fiction, etc. I wanna read about big break ups, women saying 'fuck the system', women who have to rebuild their lives after going through something huge. 💔 And then most importantly, would love a happy ending. I know that part might be a hard ask, but I need some hope lol.

Lockwood being told by Heathcliff not to bother the dogs for his own safety, proceeding to bother the dogs and getting set upon by them, then blaming Heathcliff for the behaviour of his dogs. What a buffoon.
