You think you know the world and her people and their struggles because we all struggle here but you will never be ready to read about a nation in war and her people in crisis and opportunist claiming victories and suppression of women's basic rights all in the middle of war and revolution and it will rock your world and your view. What an incredible work by Satrapi. We can see how much she loves her country even though it oppress her, because her whole world revolved around it. We see her love as well as disdain for her country, her people, her religion and isn't that all of us? Do we not love and hate our country too? We see her grow up and go through life, make mistakes and face the consequences, going through puberty, finding the love, finding her people, finding herself and that's all it is. That is all who we are. Everyone who reads should read her works, in the least Persepolis to realise what a tremendously gifted author and a rebellious woman she is. I strive to be half a rebel she is. I am reading this masterpiece of her's posthumously and I wish I read it before and celebrated one of the strongest and realest woman a little longer.

... Is this the part where I close the book and pretend that's the end? WHY IS EVELYN SAYING THAT? IS BECAUSE SHE'S GONNA-?

Cute, steamy and hallmark Elsie's small town, adorable family and cowboy magic. This was fun. I already knew nothing ever will top Chestnut Springs for me but I am excited for this new series and this close knit siblings. Theo and Winter crumbs were so cute!
I will always believe in Elsie for some pick me up romance books. She knows we need small towns, ranches and cowboys who are downbad for their partners and she serves.

I'm gonna be honest... this is the first time ever that I realised what plagiarism could become blatantly. How did it get published tho? Why aren't people talking about this. Yes I did read the book fully and yes it is 98% Manacled. It felt like I was reading a fanfiction of a fanfiction? Idk this feels weird man. Did I enjoy the book...maybe. But it's because I already knew what was gonna happen to the tee. I feel like people who are loving this haven't read Manacled or picked up Alchemised yet and I can't blame 'em for it.
