  • Read Around the World Challenge

Hello everyone! I saw a lot of people do 'read around the world' challenges where you have to read at least 1 book set in every country of the world (or written by an author from said country, depending on the challenge). I wanted to try that too, so I've been scrolling tiktok and my endless book wishlist trying to find something for every country, but most of the books I see recommended are non-fiction, litfic, or high fantasy 'inspired by x country'. None of those are genres I generally look for.

Does anybody have any recommendations about contemporary, YA/NA, queer books that are not set in USA or UK, and written by a non-US, non-UK author? (Authors who immigrated there are fine as long as they actually know their country)

    Thanks in advance!
