    3rd time reading

Genuinely one of the best books I have ever read, and it always gets better every time I read it (this was my 3rd time).

The story is so gruesome and horrifying yet I kept turning to read the next page. It’s as if I’m in the arena with them, following their every move… like I’m a mockingjay trapped in there with them.

    Suzanne Collins you masterful genius!

My only complaint is that since I’ve already seen the films before I unfortunately can’t unsee Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson as Katniss and Peeta… (which wasn’t the best casting tbh).

I’m not one to guess the ending but it was very predictable once I got to a certain point of the book, I’d say a third of the way in. At the half way point I guessed the involvement of the other characters and knew more or less the plot twist. Só not the most surprising reveal for a book of this genre but defo had me hooked for a whole day!
