I accidentally borrowed the graphic audio version from the library instead of the James Marsden narration version and let me tell you it is worse.

Maybe the worst graphic audio I've stumbled into. My poor ears. 😐

reluctant DNF at 35%, which is in no way an indictment on this sweet little tomato book or the wonderful narrator who brought the audio to life. I would still recommend this - it's surprisingly funny, filled with personality, and super informative. For me personally, it didn't hit. But it is 100% a me issue. I love history, and know probably too much about Italian history as an honorary Italian and holder of an Italian language degree. Nearly all of the historical and agricultural info was not new to me, and the new-to-me horticultural side is not of personal interest. I was super engaged at the beginning when the history centered more around the Aztecs and am still grateful I gave this a go for that reason!

Listening to this audiobook is a delight, I'm thoroughly entertained! I wonder what all the chords and sounds look like in a physical/ebook?

Finally beginning to communicate and start to potentially learn-- very exciting time in the book!

Literally obsessed with the narrator (Ray Porter). I think this might be the best audiobook I have ever listened to???

Any brainy people know how accurate the science is?

Cus to tell you that I'm lost on the science is an understatement, yet I somehow feel like I understand it despite knowing nothing about space calculations - its written so well! But seriously, is this accurate or totally pulled out of thin air and completely made up? Because it sounds bloody convincing haha

(Note only on chapter 6 so no spoilers please!)
