It has a great mix: female protagonist with growth and superation. And the best: cool dragons.

I read through the book super fast. And as a physical book, which I'm no longer used to and get tired more easily. It was engaging It was the first book I read from this author and I was hooked to read the whole saga.

For me, this is the perfect kind of book to read. It has fantasy and magic, but also it is contemporary. The protagonist is an adult, a grown woman, not a teenager. The writing is perfect, full of British humor, which I love and live for. What else could I ask for?

I really like the way of Ali mixing her scientific part of herself with corny romance. It resonates with me and I love it. Maybe it's not the deepest plot or the perfect writing but it makes you have a good time while reading it, and that's the goal.

I'm really enjoying the series listening to the audiobook, as it is a GraphicAudio with different voices and special effects. I don't know if I would read it on paper, I think it's better as an audiobook. Some parts are a bit slow or don't make sense. I felt like being tricked a couple of times when the author changed core things. But, overall, it is very entertaining and I see growth in the characters.

Good plot and characters, as Tracy Deonn has us used to. It starts a bit different from the other book, but it is a good change and keeps you wanting more. For some reason it took me a lot of time to get past the first quarter of the book, maybe because of the changes, but it has delivered. The only "bad" thing would be that I started reading it thinking it was the last book of the series and it is not, but that is a good thing too. So, no complaints.

I honestly have zero idea what this is about but between the cover and the title I’m so pumped
