  • Winter Romance Recs?

Hey!! I loved reading seasonal books as it makes me appreciate the year more and stay present. I have a few Christmas books lined up but wondered if people know of any winter themed books not about christmas? So stuff about new years and later I could read in Jan/Feb to help with the cold months? I like romance only really (helps my mental health) and things like pumpkin spice cafe vibes. Both smut and non are fine by me!!

And Ali Hazelwood comes back with another spectacular read!!! It has really strong characters including a strong fmc, a great story but good amount of smut (balanced well and doesn't seem out of place with the story), wolf/were lore without it being confusing or cringey. I think i like this more than Bride but I think I liked the smut more with this one so that could be it! So I've seen some reviews of people saying they struggle to get into this and I can get why. Unlike other books (including her non-fantasy ones) this has a bit of world building and context at the start so it's a bit back and forth between the present and past for first 10 chapters maybe? But after that it's all present and I think the story really kicks in! Hope this helps some people get to the good stuff haha

This was such a good book!!! Found family, fake marriage, friends to lovers, best friends brother, cowboy. What more do you want? Lots of spice and the scenes were šŸ‘… a lot of the time. Characters seemed really well written and out the series had the strongest and most developed MCs.

I enjoyed this but felt a bit different than the first. Was surprised by the spice and felt it started quite early. I like both closed and open door romance but would have liked to see this stick to closed like the first was? Overall the story was good but felt like it had a high amount of spice

  • Books to give awayšŸ“š

Do you ever donate/sell your books? If so, how do you decide which books those will be?

For example, if it's a hardcover of a book you dislike/don't plan to read, do you keep it or sell/donate it? If it's a book by a problematic author what do you do with it? If it's a book that you didn't hate but you also didn't LOVE do you keep it or donate/sell it? Especially if you're trying to make space in your library.

    What goes into this decision?

  • What book to read next?

Hello please help a girl with choice paralysis and a big TBR out! I’ve got an over flowing TBR but the books I’ve whittled it down to atm are:

An Ember In The Ashes This Woven Kingdom The Jasad Heir A Language of Dragons Wild Reverence A Land So Wide The Mercy Makers The Jasmine Throne House of The Beast and, House of Bane and Blood

I really want a fantasy world I can sink into and a romance I can believe in!!
