I thoroughly enjoyed my time off for the holidays; sitting on my butt and reading. Now Iâve gotta go back to the grind and I already miss my couch and books!!
Iâm going to have to carve out time in the evenings for me to decompress and read. Do you guys have any little cozy routines to help you wind down and read after work/school?

đBook Reviewđ Hook, Line & Sinker by Tessa Bailey. Book 2 in the Bellinger Sisters duology âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸.5
I really enjoyed this book, it was a good, fun and quick read. There was more plot than spice but enough spice.
I loved the slow burn of this romance, however, I felt the end was far too clichĂŠd and put me off a little bit, hence the deduction of half a star.
Hannah, our MFC is a sweetheart and sees the good in everyone. Including in Fox, our MMC. Fox is a fisherman with commitment issues due to previous family drama.
There were a lot of great quotes in this book and once I find them in the physical book I'll add them to the review.
I listened to this on audio but dual read with my physical copy when at home.
The narration was really good and clear. Easy to follow and actually really fun to listen to.
All in all, a great duology and very happy to have read them.

đBook Reviewđ As Good as Dead by Holly Jackson âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸.5
I read this via audiobook as I listen whilst at work. Out of the whole series this was my least favourite. I still loved it but just not quite as much.
This one was slightly more descriptive on the scenes involved. It was definitely less about Pip and Ravi's relationship and more on the crime side and trying to get away with murd3r.
I found that I easily knew who was the k1ll3r and who was getting framed for their demise, however I do think that was intentional from the author.
All in all a great series and very happy I've read it.
