Reading this was the equivalent of lactose intolerant people consuming dairy products. I enjoyed consuming it and it gave me diarrhea. And I will definitely read the next 2 books.
The world was very magical at times. Loved the magical creatures, potions, and spell books. But the world building was a but lacking or maybe the description made it a bit confusing. Can’t really point it out but something about the world building didn’t sit well with me. I loved the FMC for her hopefulness and how she so strongly believed in magic and true love. But it got annoying around 30% mark of the book. Her hopeful nature without rationality really frustrated me. Also the side characters were more interesting than FMC. She could be replaced with a cardboard and it wouldn’t make any impact on the plot. And for MMC, he was way to mysterious for me to think anything of him. I’m as clueless of him as the FMC. I do love mysterious characters but he was WAY TOOO mysterious. And lastly for the plot I quite enjoyed it.
