I'm shell shocked: So. Much. Fucking. Kill me. I'm honestly impressed by how much freaking sex the author managed to put in here. Honestly? This was a turn off(pun very much intended). I can totally appreciate a spicy romcom,but this was too much. And I understand that some couples just go at it a lot,but do I really need to read every single one of their fucks? I don't think so. Not to mention they were repetitive,I so didn't need 3+ scenes of Whit giving Caleb hand-jobs. Unfortunately,this was generally well written and the characters were interesting and got me attached. And while,yeah they had too much spicy times,the plot wasn't slowed down by them,if anything it progressed through them, which only disappoints me more cause the author is clearly good at writing but chooses to use her abilities for the wrong things. I can't even complain about those two feeling like they weren't in love,cause they were very clearly. They had chemistry,cuddled and kissed lots,I just wish I knew less about their dicks. I absolutely loved Caleb,his family of weirdos,his friends and even Whit,although I think he should have done way more groveling after hurting Caleb the way he did. I wanted to see him on his freaking K N E E S begging for forgiveness. Well,he kneeled multiple times but for uhm...coughs...let's not specify this. Another thing that pissed me,though,is the fact that not everything about Whit's past was solved,like what was his trauma with straight guys? It just felt like something the authore came out with in the beginning and then forgot about,ugh. In conclusion: Was this good? Hell,no. Did I like it? Sadly kind of yes. Do I recommend it? Only if you want to read about two guys raw dogging it for 280 pages. And even then it's kind of boring,but the vibes are sort of good. Will I read the next book in the series? Yeah,at some point.
