hi everyone! :) i recently saw that many people dislike third person and much rather read first person. i read both of them but i definitely prefer third person because i think that pov switches work better that way and it hits more home for me idk. the âiâ in first person makes me sometimes feel weird and i find it harder in moments to successfully escape into the story because of it. (no hate!) so iâm wondering, what do you guys prefer and why?
ps: i left second person out bc i havenât read many books with it though feel free to share your thoughts!
edit: thanks for all of your takes!! so interesting to read your thoughts âš

A fantasy universe created by Sir Terry Pratchett, Discworld is a flat planet balanced on the backs of four elephants, which in turn stand on the back of a giant turtle. These are comedic novels that parody traditional fantasy tropes. All books can be read as standalones.

Hi fellow pagebounders! I am doing a little of cleaning of my bedroom and just started the book stacks and shelves part. I'm getting rid of some books I don't want anymore. But I'm also reorganizing my shelves. And I don't know how I should reorganize it. đ« I had some shelves by favorites and others just simply with all books randomly. So I have a few questions!

I just finished reading the Odyssey and I wanted to know what you all think of rating the Classicsâąïž. For me it feels weird? I donât feel âqualifiedâ I guess??? And it feels wrong to say I didnât necessarily enjoy it 100% but how do you guys feel?
Do you feel comfortable rating a classic? Do you feel like itâs disrespectful or is it not really that deep for you?
