House of Shadows packed quite a punch. I felt like I had severe whiplash while reading it. It was packed with so many twists and turns that kept my eyes glued to the pages excited to see what would happen next. It was fast paced and action packed but there were some slow moments in between but man what an amazing ride it was full of adventure, betrayal, secrets, lies, triumphs, losses and so much more. I loved it. It kept me on toes and begging for more. I can't wait to see what the next installment brings especially with the revelations that took place in this one. I highly recommend.

Private Deal was one of my highly anticipated reads. It didn't disappoint. It kept me invested, fully engaged, on my toes and at the edge of my seat. I devoured it in one sitting, I'd been waiting too long for this conclusion to not read this cover to cover. I have zero regrets about my decision even though it's way past my bedtime. I loved it. Morgan and Lance's story did quite a number on me. I didn't expect it to emotionally affect me in the ways that it did. I didn't cry but it affected me on a soul deep level. It was well worth the wait even though I found it repetitive in certain parts. It was entertaining, twisty, steamy and left me wanting more. I can't wait to read the stories to follow especially after certain events. It was a great conclusion to this wild rollercoaster ride of a read.

Restore Me was angsty as f***. I loved the tension, pining, chemistry and steam. I wasn't fond of the miscommunication and some of the main characters interactions in the beginning but man did I enjoy their journey. I thought the ups and downs, highs and lows of their journey and depictions of grief were well done. I loved the relationship dynamics between Sloane, her sister in law and mother in law as well as Dominic's relationship with them. I also loved the way the complicated relationships in their lives were drawn, they enhanced the emotional impact of this story. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the rest of this series and more by this author.

Dragon Cursed is my first book by Elise Kova but it won't be my last. I loved it. I didn't expect to be as emotionally invested in it as I was. It kept me engrossed. I was so here for all the action, adventure, twists, turns and heartbreaking moments. I loved the journey even though I found parts of it slow and some of the explanations of the world, history and magic bogged down the story. It was still an exciting and interesting read. It was a thrill ride and I can't wait for more. I most definitely recommend it.

I adored Try Me. It was such fun, easy read. Even though it tackled topics of a serious nature it still managed to be a light, funny, feel good read. It was packed with flirty banter, tons of chemistry and tension between the main characters, Gianna and Drake. I loved them. They fit so well together even though they were so opposite. I loved how easy things felt between them. Their story just flowed effortlessly. I devoured 74% of it in one sitting. It was so good I didn't want it to end. I loved being in this world and can't wait for the next book in the series. I most definitely recommend it.

Firemage was gentler on my emotions than Eagleminder but not by much because I felt for Arawn. My heart. My heart. My heart. I loved it but it did a number on me. I hated the injustices and constraints he was forced to live under but I loved his resilience and the depth of his devotion to his brother. I loved getting into Arawn's head and seeing what made him tick. I thought I had a fave but now I can't choose between them. I love both of them for very different reasons. While I may be confused about which brother is my fave I'm not at all confused about my feelings for their parents. They are awful and I wish nothing but evil on them. I loved Firemage its pages were filled with heart, action, adventure and love. Go read it.

"He died just before he was born.” The first sentence of this book felled me and set the stage for the heartbreak that was to come. I loved being in this world again and getting into Kinlear’s mind. The insight into his childhood experiences was devastating in a multitude of ways which is why I both loved it and hated it. I hated the way he was treated but loved the knowledge and understanding I gained through his journey. His journey was the furthest thing from easy. It was dark in ways and a bit depressing but it was so interesting and intriguing. I felt for him deeply and just wanted to wrap him in my arms and protect him despite still being upset over what he did in Ravenminder. I get it but still...If you enjoyed Ravenminder please go read this you will not be sorry.

Savage Crown was a fitting end to an epic story. Action packed. Intense. Sweet. Thrilling. Magic filled. It was all of that and so much more. I was wholly locked in from start to finish. It kept me on the edge of my seat and fully engaged in what was taking place. I loved it and very highly recommend it. It was a very satisfying read.

An Arcane Inheritance was good. It was creepy and atmospheric. There was a mystery element to it as well. I loved how they worked in tandem with each other. Some of the concepts put forward in it were a bit confusing but I can't deny it was a very interesting and intriguing read. I devoured it in one sitting. I loved that it dealt with race, nepotism, entitlement, class etc through the lens of academia. It was pretty well done. The world and magic system were pretty cool. I enjoyed the twists and turns. However, I wasn't overly fond of the romance, I wish it had taken more of a centre stage role. Other than that this was a pretty solid read.
