I love anything and everything with romance! My absolute favourite tropes are Friends-to-lovers and golden retriever men. Let's be friends! 🫶

This book was dark and utterly unhinged (in a nice way ofc). I loved Liam and Kat. They complemented each other so well. They were like puzzle pieces which fit each other PERFECTLY. She had a past she didn't want anyone to know about and he knew and loved he for it. You cannot convince me they aren't meant for each other.

The spice in this book made me giggle so bad like wdym he has a mask on? giggles hysterically I didn't like certain parts like the ending because it felt too open ended and then I got to know that there will be a sequel and I was so happy to know that. (Definitely gonna read that sequel as soon as I get my grubby hands on 'em)

The relationships the main characters had with their parents, friends, flings, etc. were a bit concerning, especially the mmc's relationship with his mother(?). I really hope it improves in the next book because that woman deserves better. I do hope they get married too, lol.

You should totally read this book if you liked Skin of a Killer by Avina St. Graves or Lights Out by Navessa Allen! There are certain tropes that are done in this book which you may like IF you liked the books I said above.

Anyways, hope you enjoyed me yapping, lovingly yours, Uzia.

This book was so GOOD!!! I loved reading about Frankie and Daphne. The amount of emotions this book made me feel is INSANE. Like I literally felt second hand embarrassment, SUPER SAD, SUPER HAPPY, flustered all in one book. I want to read more about 'em because I WANNA KNOW MORE ABOUT DAPHNE'S DAUGHTER.

I really loved Huxley and DAPHNE'S duo. That is the level of understanding I want with my friends fr. The romance in this book melted me into a puddle and I read this book 3 hours. (My real life responsibilities staring at me from the corner: 😐) That's writing was fun to read and the descriptions she gave about each character made me feel like I was in the book looking at them with freaking binoculars, lol.

The BDSM part of the book was uhm.... VERY HEATED. (My phone overheated...quite literally.) FRANKIE, THE MAN YOU AREEEEE!! 😆🤭 Also the care he showed to her, I DIED FR. Daphne made me a bit mad in the middle but I did connect with her when I reached the ending of the book. I loved their backstories and the way they coped.

The reason I rated it 4⭐ is that it wasn't completely a TOP-TIER book + the BDSM trope was blended in a spectacular way BUT it made me quite uncomfortable, lol. HOWEVER, THIS IS MY OPINION and if you live for groundbreaking BDSM, friends to strangers to lovers, marriage of convenience, small town romance, etc.

Thank you so much for listening to me yap, Love yaaaa, Uzia.

Humorous and weirdly charming! I loved the art + the characters so much. Especially the guy. I do want the next book already though because WHY DID IT STOP THERE!?! The storyline was a bit weird but it was fun to read. I related to the fmc more than I wanted to, tbh. The guy WAS SO HOTTTTT!!! HIM CARING ABOUT HER WISHES, THE LINES HE SAID, THE WAY HE EXPRESSED HIMSELF, GAHHHH!!! I need men like these delivered to my doorstep, pls.

A romantasy manga with misunderstood characters and an amount of miscommunication that makes it simultaneously hilarious and annoying. I loved the fact that the fmc started feeling better about being alone and actually enjoyed it rather than being miserable. The MMC really needs to buck up for the future if he wants her to be his fiancé. I love how every character in the manga is knocking some sense into the MMC because WDYM you did that!? (If you are wondering what 'that' is, you gotta read it, lol). I love how gullible all of the characters are, honestly. It is literally hilarious. I would like the main characters (and the side couples) to have a good ending. There was too much miscommunication in this first book which made me really mad. I do think the fmc's feelings are justified though.
