This book leaves you so empty the ending is so open, which is why its such a good book, it hits you so hard with reality

I had so much fun nreading this, this is one of the few books I am able to re-read, the short concepts make it so much more fun to read, I really liked it its like someone speaking their thoughts to you

I believe it is a good book, I kind of had a spiritual awakening reading it, the plot is really good and unexpected, has its fair share of plot twists, but keeps a balance between plot and message, definately a good book, really close to my heart ❤

It is a very vague story, definately not for everyone but if you take the time to understand it, it actually has good messages, but it may seem boring to some people as its not as eventful as some of the books out there, but the messages make it so worth it.

  • Short books with nasty cliffhangers

I need to rant for a moment:

So right now I’m across the tenth series or so, where the first book ends on a nasty cliffhanger that wants me to buy and read the second book immediately. Sometimes the first book has about 150 pages (and still costs 15-20€). The second book usually comes longer (thank the universe, because my job isn’t paying me enough for 5 15€ books á 150 pages.) Is this a selling and money making strategy?! Why not throw a 350 or 400 pages book on the market that has a full story in it? This has me really frustrated and I somehow don’t want to read the second book because of that. (But of course I’ll read it because I NEED to know the rest of the story.)

Anybody else annoyed by that? And can anybody recommend some dark romance books that don’t come with a 150 pages „trailer“?

  • Has a book changed your life?

I'm sorry if it's been posted before (I tried to check), but do you sometimes pause and think that your life could've been completely different if you hadn't read that one particular book?
