Hello pagebounders!! Well, I've come across a lot of videos recently talking about the cons and pros of BookTok and Bookstagram. But what I want to know is, in your opinion, does it do more harm than help to the book community? I think for me since I'm only in Bookstagram it doesn't really harm the book community since these kind of people are not very popular there however I've seen a few. However I don't know how it is in Booktok, can someone tell me??

After reading a little bit, I just had to read the blurb in order to understand a little of this book, and yet I still can't š is it still too early to understand?

Hiii! Iām a complete newbie here, so Iām still figuring out Pagebound, but Iām Erin š«°š». Just a quick question of Is it worth doing Quests? Iāve started a few to see the badges but is the actual joy of getting a badge actually existent for everyone?

it is very interesting to hear about this chapter during the current resurgence of thinness. diseases like TB turn bodies āinto a skeleton,ā and often kill whomever has it, but that image has been romanticized and sought after despite it being a signal of death. itās fascinating that this trend has been happening for centuries.
why, in the wealthiest country in the world, are people seeking to look as thin as possible when that is often a sign of serious or fatal illness. it is a privilege to be able to purposefully chase that look while many people have no choice due to illness or lack of food.
Iāve been thinking about this a lot lately- how people are offended to be referred to as old, not asking women their age, plastic surgery, ozempic, etc. it is a massive privilege to be able to grow old. it is a gift to enjoy food and life and reach a certain age, why have we (particularly women) been so shamed into not wanting that?
I could go on and on but itās not 100% relevant to the book, but itās funny how aligned the chapters keep being with things Iāve already been thinking about recently

i've been using this platform for many many months now and have participated in many a readalong, and so i want to ask everyone else. what is your favourite book that you've read thanks to the readalong choices of the past and present?
i've participated in winter 2026, spring 2026 and summer 2026. out of all of the books i've read for it, my favourite of them all so far is when we lost our heads by heather o'neil. i can't wait to see your choices!
