I love the length of the audiobook chapters, it’s just long enough for me to get hooked but also just short enough that I can listen to one full chapter on my drive to work 🙂↕️

I just had the insanely jarring realization that honeymoons are a thing and I completely forgot about them when I set my username. I’ve always used “ golden moon” something as gaming usernames and just thought honey moon was a cute variation 🫠
This made me start wondering if I was similarly misreading anyone else’s usernames and what some of them meant. So while I think of a new username, I wanted to ask everyone what’s the story behind your username? 👀
Edit: The rebrand has been done 😌

FUCK capitalism and corporate American frfr, also, Morgan. Stand up, girl! I think this book definitely tries to address how people feel trapped living their lives in a certain way becuase it's the easiest way for them, and they've already spent so much time and effort where they are, even if there are other opportunities out there. I don't think it goes all the way, and I think there are different ways this could have been expressed or magnified, but overall, it does the job. I appreciate Giselle and her relationship to Morgan, though becuase Giselle is a real one, and Morgan and Lucareoth's dynamic was interesting, more so from Lucareoth's side than Morgan's, because of the reason he loves her. It's so sad yet so cute, though I was more depressed for their situations later in the story because it's just a beat down! like damn! let him up! If you want a casual love story with no spice that kinda addresses fuckass corporate America, then this is def the book for you.

This book isn’t about mystery and magic; it’s about love, family, identity, and finding your place in the world. The magic and mystery are just the extra bits that make the story work. The audiobook was amazing, and the narrator really made this story work. The different accents and personalities were amazing and very easy to identify who was who. I will say, there were a lot of inspirational moments or lines lol, slightly overdone and cringe, but it’s cute, and sometimes it made me roll my eyes, but like when a parent or older sibling tries to be uplifting, so not bad, just a bit cringe. The romance between Cynthia and Theo was super cute, and the relationship for the side characters was interesting, I wish we could have seen more of it.
