AAAAATE this up

Bali’s first book in the series, Her Feral Beasts, was an absolute home run for me. morally grey characters;  touch her and you die; obsessive men; a spunky and witty female main character; a ridiculously cute, fluffy creature sidekick; 10/10 spice – sign me up for every single book in this series. i flew through the prequel, Her Vicious Beasts #0.5, and immediately started listening to this – i’ve read the first two books in there days, that’s how obsessed i’ve been. there were so many scenes throughout the book that had me giggling & kicking my feet or laughing out loud over something slightly unhinged (okay, maybe majorly unhinged) that someone from Aurelia’s pack had done. these moments were expertly sandwiched in between nail-biting-worthy moments and helped to create an amazing atmosphere for reading! i’ve already picked up the second book in the series and can’t wait to see what happens for Aurelia and the rest of her pack!

Bali’s Her Vicious Beasts #0.5 with little to no knowledge of what the book was truly about aside from a short synopsis posted on Nerd Fam’s website. to say i was blown away is putting it lightly – this series have easily climbed the ladder to be in my top five reads of 2025! whenever i wasn’t reading, i was thinking about the book and absolutely itching to continue it, wondering what would happen next. i cannot even stress enough how important it is to read this book, the prequel novella, before starting the “first” book in the series, Her Feral Beasts . not only does Her Vicious Beasts contain little plot points that truly help the reader to make sense of the situations occurring in Her Feral Beasts , but this novella really does an amazing job of showing readers how three dimensional these characters are and helps us to solidify a bond with these characters before being thrown into the edge-of-seat worthy craziness that is the first book in the series. this audiobook was chef’s kiss, oh my goodness — i absolutely adored it! i’m obsessed with how spunky and witty our main character, Aurelia, is — especially around her men. y’all know i love a good fated mates story, so this had me giggling and kicking my feet the whooole time! i flew through this audiobook and i’m already listening to the second one!
