Botanical horror is probably one of my fav niche genres, and it ticked all the boxes!
Loved the characters, the way the character development was done!! fantastic!!!
Will say, I did find the "twists" to be quite predictable, but that's not necessarily a bad thing! Then I just got to sit in suspense and wonder when they'll figure it out themselves 😅💕

As usual, T. Kingfisher can do no wrong and I loved it. Binged (almost) the whole thing today and It was such a good time!!!
The kind of horror that is more unnerving than anything else, but damn was it effective. I loved the humour this book had, and it was so delightful I found myself laughing out loud and (spiritually) kicking my feet 🩷
Its a "lighter" horror (in my opinion), so I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants to try a horror novel but maybe isn't the best with scary stuff ✨
And may everyone who sees themselves in Selena 1. Dump his ass and 2. Be proud of who they've become 💕
