This was a very difficult read. As it was supposed to be. The male MC (Junyoung) just made me want to rip my hair out! Never had so much visceral hate for a fictional character before. It took me much too long to get through this not very long book because of it. And you just feel so bad for Dahye… In the beginning I thought this book was doing too much but knowing this was to be a revenge story is really what kept be going. And that last 40% I could not put it down! Everything really came together and did not disappoint!!
I fell in love with Monica Kim’s book ‘The Eyes Are the Best Part’ and couldn’t wait to get my hands on ‘Molka’ so thank you so much NetGalley, Kensington Publishing and Erewhon Books for this ARC!

This was discussed on My Wife Likes Books podcast and it’s made me so curious about other people’s because there’s was so varied. Here’s my system:
⭐️ - inherently flawed in style, plot, politics, etc. likely didn’t finish
⭐️⭐️ - I finished it but it was actively difficult and I enjoyable. Glad it’s over.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ - enjoyed it while reading but ask me in a month and I’ll remember nothing about it
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - a good book, both in terms of quality and enjoyment. I might recommend it to some people.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - like that crush I had in high school, I find myself looking for excuses to bring it up in conversation. Takes over my life, becomes my personality.
