I hadn't planned anything, it just kind of happened! I was reading it and I saw some quote that I feel like said a lot about life in a band back then and the "expectations" that came with it (such as drugs, sleeping with multiple people, drinking all from a very young age etc.) and I thought "this is so interesting, I want to find more quotes like this". Also Daisy already feels like such an interesting character to me and so another category of quotes that I tabbed is basically traits of hers and what leads her to take certain decisions amd simply just elements of her personality. There are some other categories reffering to the fact that I simply want to go back to a quote or to the other characters and their personality traits. Annotating really is a random process that has no permanent structure for me: my bookmark is a sticky tab holder (idk how to call it) and so every book I read has some in it! Usually the colours mean the same thing in all of them but in some I change things up and I feel like I am treasure hunting! (Daisy Jones is part of that minority) Sometimes I write in books too (mainly weird reactions to stuff happening, nothing too deep) but now I don't have a pen 'cause I am not home so we deal with what we have 😅.
