And so it ended... the journey that took us from the hills of joy to the plains of grief, that broke us and built us togheter the same and that will forever be engraved in the depths of our mind ❤️🩹❤️🔥

Wow. I can't believe it's the final book. It had been a long time ago when it started with just the three of them: Celaena, Chaol, and Dorian. Then she became Aelin and everything just went crazy. I love how there were more characters all throughout the series and somehow its world expanded. I love how the trio's individual arcs progressed.
Anyway, in Empire of Storms, there was this super crazy cliffhanger of Aelin being a captive of Maeve and then the agony was prolonged because the year after Tower of Dawn focused on Chaol and Yrene. I love how both books were the prelude to this one. I love how the story of this book was so carefully and so well woven that despite the length it didn't feel too long and there certainly wasn't any dull moment or boring fillers. This book wasn't rushed. I love how Maas wrote the battle that it was so vivid. A lot of battles in books are so hurried, it'd feel like it was easy but not this one.
Everything from the first page to the last was satisfying.
also let me type this in all caps: THAT FEYRE AND RHYS CAMEO WAS ABSOLUTELY FREAKING AWESOME AND BEAUTIFUL. HOLY SHIT RHYS HELPED AELIN AND NOW I WANT THIS HUGE CROSSOVER BOOK.
Overall the characters that stood out for me in this one would have to be Dorian. God, I love Dorian in this and I absolutely love him with Manon. The both of them just fit together. I wish Maas would release a novella about them and the rest.
It's always sad to see a series end. This series will always be one of my faves and the ending is one of my faves as well. I'm excited for anything that Sarah J. Maas would write and publish because she's officially one of those authors whose books I wouldn't hesitate to read and buy.

I love Scarlett and Julian more than DnD. I don't know what exactly it is that makes me like them more, but I do.

I love LOVE the development of the characters, the way the story makes you keep turning pages and how emotional and striking everything is. THE MOMENT with Dorian and Manon was one of the most beautiful scenes of that kind (in my opinion) and also Elide and Lorcan (TOP TIERR) . Also Aelin is back everybody and now we are finally heading for the place where all roads lead: TERRASEN😭❤️🔥🫠🔥
