I think Mary is my spirit person being the bookish, socially awkward one. 🙈

This was my first Emily Henry book, and I loved it. I was giggling the whole time. I laughed and cried with Poppy, and then cried some more when I remembered Alex Nilsen doesn't exist 😭.

This book was a birthday gift, and I honestly didn't really know what to expect, but overall, I enjoyed it. The plot was intriguing, and the main characters were likeable,... and then there were the truly loathsome men. This is not a love story or a fantastic novel; it is a story about womanhood and the constant struggle we are subjected to for merely existing.

Quote: "I was a woman when it was convenient to blame me, and a girl when they wanted to use me."
