Wow. I literally cannot put into words how much I hate this book. The premise is great, don't get me wrong. Turning the tradwide trend into a horror is such a great idea, but god when you pair it with the most fucking insufferable main character, I cannot help but hate it.
Camille, the main character, is supposed to be unlikable at the beginning because of her weird misogynistic tradwife views, I get that. But she quickly loses my sympathy when she is killing innocent people around her to feed her crackhead demon baby. I wanted to kill her and that baby more than any other character in this story, which is insane because I literally recoiled every time the husband insulted or was mean to Camille. I did not have a "good for you!" moment at the end when Camille ultimately killed her husband and went into the forest because I felt like she didn't even deserve it. She did not deserve redemption, she treated other women (who weren't even tradwives!) with utter disrespect and pushed her misogynistic views on them too. So honestly I wish she would've just died at the end.

This is a very angry review, but I'm not sorry. I was seething when I finished this book
