So I'm really not getting into the book - I'm trying, I swear, but I find that every single action the characters do is described in great detail... and I'm struggling to filter the important from the non important. I'm by no means saying this is a bad book.. so far, I'm fascinated by the story, but struggling to pick the book up after putting it down. Tell me, does it get better in terms of the plot? Like do things actually start happening at some point? 🫠🫠🫠

I just finished the rest of the book in one sitting. Granted, it's 27° outside and it would have been a shame to do anything else but read. So far, I've finished all of Freida McFaddens books I've read in one sitting. Something about the writing style just.. captivates me. It's easy to read, but that's not necessarily a bad thing yk. I will say I kinda predicted the twists, but I have read my fair share of similar thrillers. I'm rather neutral on this book and my rating tbfh. It's not the most mind bending thing I've read but it's definitely captivating and kinda hard to not finish.
