Lucyās 29th birthday has come along, and she dreams of something more. In the past she had been told that she was too much, too needy, among other things by her abusive ex-pack. Now, she wants to prove herself, live her life to the fullest and not let other peopleās opinions sway her. But her plan keeps getting thwarted, from a disastrous camping trip to a baby bunny, she doesnāt know what to expect from 29. But she knows that she wants to keep the men sheās met along the way by her side. I loved this book!! Emeliaās books always hit, but this one especially hit just right. From the familial bonds, The Omega Overlords, Blossomās Daddies, to Leoās relationship with his disability (and how that expands and changes throughout the book), Leoās Iranian heritage and how thatās written in, and so much more. Thank you so much to NetGalley, Emelia, and Putnam Books for sending me an early copy of this incredible read!

getting to be in Plestiaās head through a genocide that most of us could barely imagine was⦠breathtaking? horrible? eye-opening? there are so many words, but at the same time none.
if youāve ever spoken for Palestine and Gaza, i highly recommend you read this book. being able to see through the lens of someone who was there, writing this book in a random notebook she found in the rubble, is something you very rarely get and especially not like this.
Plestiaās story, albeit heartbreaking, is absolutely a must read. itās hard, itās shocking, but to be able to free Palestine and Gaza, it is necessary.
