Started the first book in the OG Zodiac Academy series in January of this year and proceeded to get sucked into the Solarian universe for the following six months. When you first look at the series, especially the physical books and see how long each book is and how many exist within the original series + spinoff series you're like yeah there's no way I'm gonna read all that. Then you dive into one of the books and the next thing you know the Twisted Sisters have you hostage with plot twists and suspenseful cliffhangers that leave you scrambling to start the next book as soon as you finish. These books had me staying up reading until the sunrise because I simply had to know what happened next. I have now read 19 books from them and I have no regrets. Long live the Twisted Sisters. PS. I love that the series was co-written by two sisters, as a sister bestie myself that honestly sounds like a dream come true. If you read the ZA series (or the other Solarian series like Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac or Darkmore Penitentiary), which book was your favorite?

i initially got this book years ago and couldn't get past the first chapter, as i found it too depressing (and triggering, as i was dealing with some SI myself at the time). i'm so glad i gave it another go, the messages in this book were beautiful and so impactful. i already know i'll be thinking about this book for a really long time.
